Autographs (below). This set, signed under a print of an earlier home page for The Underview on 2001, includes: David G. Stork: author, "Hal's Legacy" Gary Lockwood: "Frank Poole" in the movie Roger Ebert: famed American movie critic and 2001 enthusiast Piers Bizony: author, "2001: Filming the Future"	This picture (above), not uncommon in itself, is a little different - Gary Lockwood has signed it twice on two different occasions. 	Inscribed first- edition copies of Arthur C. Clarke's novel are always sought- after. This one (below) is rather special. It was owned by Robert O'Brien, president of MGM during the period when 2001 was made: "To Bob O'Brien, with my thanks and my appreciation of his support" - dated 28 May '68. Details of O'Brien's involvement with the movie and his relationship with Mr Kubrick have been documented by John Baxter in his 1997 biography of Stanley Kubrick.	The New American Library's press release for Arthur C. Clarke's novel was the first one ever "produced by computer" (below). Added authenticity was lent to this early example of "computer" generated output (released for first publication of the book in June 1968) by the insertion of an error in the very first sentence (deliberate? A hint of Hal's little difficulties? Who knows?): "The year 1002 is only a short time away"...
